• These portraits are limited to Head & Shoulders format; i.e., if you’re looking for a Three-quarter or Full-figure portrait, or a more detailed painting, please visit his portfolio for pricing and details.Charcoal portraits are not color, but gray/black/white in tone, similar to those shown here.
• You have a choice of Options 1, 2, and 3 regarding the sitting:
  1. ($450) A live sitting lasting 2-3 hours at Tim’s studio or other location designated by Tim (Cost: $450).
  2. ($500) In lieu of a live sitting, you can submit a high-resolution photograph of the subject, which Tim must approve as suitable to work from.  Click here for a guide to aid you in this process (“Guide to Selecting Photos for Your Portrait”). There is an additional $50 fee for this option. (Total cost for processing + Portrait is $500).
  3. ($575) You can schedule a 20-30 minute photographic sitting with Tim if a live sitting will not work (e.g. portrait subject is unable to sit for 2-3 hours, scheduling or location limits, etc.). There is an additional $125 fee for this option. (Total cost for sitting + processing + Portrait is $575).
• The fee is per person; multiple heads in same portrait are priced the same as individual portraits.
• Your portrait will be created using archival-quality materials, consistent with Tim’s high standard of execution. Tim guarantees a likeness based on the quality of his reference material.
• The size of the portrait will range from 20”x16” for children’s to approximately 24”x20” for adults.
• You will receive your completed portrait immediately after a live sitting, and within weeks after approval of submitted photographs (for Options 2 and 3).
• Framing is not included in the cost of the portrait. Click here for info regarding affordable framing options.
• Upon completion you may pick up the portrait or have it shipped FedEx for only $20.
• Payment: 50% at commencement; balance at delivery of portrait.
